Born and raised in Mumbai, India, Dr. Milan Chakrabarty faced extremely difficult challenges when seeking his life long passion to be a medical physician. He received his M.B.B.S. (MD Equivalent) from Grand Medical College; Mumbai University, Mumbai, India. He then transferred to J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai University, Mumbai to achieve his Medicine Internship. He held Residency at St. George Hospital, Mumbai; Subspecialty Medical Resident Rotations at G.T. Hospital, Mumbia; and an Internal Medicine Residency and Chief Resident, Internal Medicine at Mount Pleasant Hospital, Cardiff University; Swansea, Wales, U.K. Dr. Chakrabarty was Resident Physician at Metropolitan Jewish Medical Center, Coney Island, New York, NY; and, Internal Medicine Resident at St. Clares Hospital & Health Center, New York, NY. He did his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center & Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. Milan is most proud to have founded Hemet Endoscopy Center and be Founder of Department of Gastroenterology at Hemet Valley Medical Centers, Hemet, CA.
He has been honored to be a member of the American Gastroenterological Association; American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society of Gastroenterology Endoscopy.
Raised in Hemet, Indraneel Chakrabarty received his BS, Biochemistry from UCR in 1998, his MA in Medical Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM) in 2000, his MD from BUSM in 2004, and his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Interventional Endoscopy in 2011 from Lahey Clinic. He was on staff as a Hospitalist and Teaching Associate at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Chakrabarty is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Upon completing his education and training, Dr. Chakrabarty returned to his roots and has joined his father, Dr. Milan Chakrabarty in forming GI Excellence, Inc., Southwest Riverside County's most advanced gastroenterology medical center. He has brought notable progress to the practice with the introduction and implementation of the center's GI laboratory; and, the advancement in procedure technology. Of significance is the introduction of the 1.23 million pixel power endoscopic i-Scan technology.
Dr. Chakrabarty is known throughout the region for his expertise in advanced and interventional gastroenterology. These are highly specialized procedures performed by specially trained and experienced gastroenterologists to prevent, detect, diagnose, and treat complex conditions such as Barrett's esophagus, liver and biliary disease, pancreatic cysts, gastrointestinal bleeding, and gastrointestinal cancers.
Sandra Del Valle received her BA, Psychology, Cal State University San Bernardino, San Bernardino, California; and, her Physician Assistant Certification from the Stanford University School of Medicine, Physician Assistant Program, Palo Alto, California.
In her final year of studies at Stanford University School of Medicine, Sandra's commitment and dedication drove her to volunteer to teach new medical students the task of taking vitals and adequately perform physicals. She developed seminars for prospective students and has continued to offer her time to developing a Physician Assistant program at the University of California, San Diego, California.
Possessing an uncompromising volunteer spirit Sandra has spent the past ten years assisting students learn to improve their SAT scores. She enjoys coaching soccer and is active in her church's many outreach programs. Sandra also spends considerable personal time working with troubled teens, and assisting seniors at various nursing homes.
Her professional experience is quite impressive as she was Cardiac Physician Assistant at the Heart Institute of Southern California, Temecula, California performing cardiac evaluation and treatment, and treadmill stress testing; Service Coordinator, Inland Regional Center, San Bernardino, California responsible for the direct case management of services offered to individuals with developmental disabilities, developing and implementing individual program plans; Medical Assistant, Apple Medical Group, Hemet, California, performing EKGs, vital signs, injections, charting, assisting with physical exams, venipuncture, and specimen collection; and, Medical Assistant, Vrijesh Tantuwaya, MD (Neurosurgery), La Mesa, California.
Kathleen Linke received her BS in Exercise Physiology at Kent State University located in Kent, Ohio, and her Masters of Medical Science degree from Baldwin Wallace University, Physician Assistant Program, Berea, Ohio.
As a research assistant for the Kent State University Physiology Department, Katie studied Parkinson ’s disease and the use of stationary bicycle exercise for symptom improvement. She assisted patients with equipment and monitoring during exercise as well as statistical analysis. She also helped conduct a research study examining neuromuscular response after focused vibratory stimulation in an effort to explore non-pharmacologic treatment modalities for certain neuromuscular disorders. This experience inspired her passion for research and solidifi ed her beliefs in the importance of exercise for individual health and wellness. Her hard work and dedication to scholastic excellence during this time earned Katie the award for Most Outstanding Undergraduate in Exercise Science, 2014, Kent State University.
During her medical training at Baldwin Wallace University, Katie developed a special interest in gastroenterology and actively pursued experience opportunities geared toward this field of medicine, including elective rotations at Northshore Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Center, Westlake, Ohio and at St. John Medical Center, Westlake, Ohio, where she enthusiastically delivered care to individuals in the hospital as well as outpatient gastroenterology clinic.
In her spare time, Katie likes to enjoy the outdoors, participate in 5k fundraising events and volunteer her time at local animal shelters. In the future she wishes to give back by becoming a student preceptor and mentoring young, aspiring PAs. She is very motivated and feels very privileged to serve the people of Southern California with their medical needs.
